The Invisalign Treatment Process
At Northside Dental we offer Invisalign clear aligners as a treatment option to help give you a straighter smile.
Step 1
Schedule Your Initial
Consultation
We will start the process by examining your teeth to see if Invisalign is an option for you. Then, we will use a digital scanner to create a 3D image of your teeth and what your smile could look like after Invisalign treatment.
Step 2
Develop a Custom
Treatment Plan
Based on the decisions made during your consultation, we will map out an individualized treatment plan with timelines. Your plan will include the exact movements of your teeth that should occur with each set of aligners.
Step 3
Start Your Custom
Treatment Plan
You will get a series of clear aligners custom-made just for you. You will wear them every day, taking them out to eat, drink, brush and floss. As your treatment progresses, your aligners will gradually start to shift your teeth.
Step 4
Switch Your Aligners
Every Two Weeks
About every 2 weeks, you will change to your next set of clear aligners. You will also go to brief checkups with your dentist about every six weeks to review your progress.
Step 5
Maintain Your
Brand New Smile
It's exciting to reach the end of your treatment! At your final appointment, we will discuss your next steps and prescribe retainers to help keep your teeth in their new positions.
